Material:	Carbon steel or 304/316 stainless steel.
Finish:	Black, electro or hot–dipped galvanized.
Service:	For clamping mechanical joint piping, mechanical joint or socket fittings together, thus stopping separation or distortion of pipe lines under excessive water pressure.
Ordering:	Specify pipe size, figure number and finish. Two FIG. #465 socket clamp washers are required for each clamp and must be ordered separately.
Approval:	National Fire Protection Association Standard NFPS 24 for outside protection.
